The Blog for which I cannot think of a title for

March 26, 2008

Yesterday I said I would blog about Montana. So here I go.

I never actually realized Montana was a state. I seriously thought it was a city. So when Kani was forced to practice reciting all the states for her test, I was like, “Whoa! Montana’s a state?!” Some people think it’s funny (which I don’t mind. I’m not that bad at laughing at myself). Some people *cough cough ‘Lina cough cough* think it’s lame. All I have to say is, like you’ve NEVER had an embarrassing moment. Personally, I don’t think you were being very nice. And at least I never went around telling people it wasn’t a state.

Anyway, now that I’ve got my righteous anger out, what should I blog about? On Demand finally brought back Winx Club (which I was addicted to last year). I hadn’t bothered to check it, so it looks like I missed a bunch of episodes, but whatever. I can find the stuff on Wikipedia. At least its on TV unlike AVATAR. Avatar is still showing no new episodes in the US, yet they’re showing them in CANADA. Why Canada? Not that I have anything against Canada (until now) but why not here? And even worse, YouTube doesn’t have the episodes. Sigh.

Well, that’s all for now. See ya (or not). As annoying people say, “The choice is yours!”

Again!!

February 9, 2008

Well, here I am blogging again. Thats sets a record for me. Today was super sunny! =) I can’t stand cloudy days, unlike my friend Honor who is happiest when it is cloudy and cold. But at least there’s one weather we both dislike: wet! Still, I am strangely overly cheerful on sunny days.

Still, as we supposedly are having a drought (or were) guess what we got for two straight weeks: rain! Rather ironic, no?

I will never be called one to appreciate fine art. In my opinion Picasso is not so much a master as a person who likes putting noses in the wrong places. (And to all those people getting mad right now, I apologize. But, I still don’t understand abstract art.) Anyway, I looking at the poster of one of Picasso’s works, and was rather strongly informed when i inquired that it was not a sketch, it was a style of drawing. All I can say is they must have had weird eyeshadow back then.

Not much more to say, other then that the finches are (well, were) mobbing the bird feeder. But the best thing to watch is the hummingbird feeder when the hummingbirds are hungry in winter. Last year, a red- chested one (who we named Bob) took over the feeder. Others would sneak in for the free food while he wasn’t looking, but if he found them he would chase them off. It was a whole soap opera in the backyard. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen that many this winter.

I hope everyone has a good weekend. I know I will.

Yay!

February 8, 2008

Well, here I am, finally blogging. (Thanks ‘Lina) I guess I’m not quite sure what to say.

What’s your worst idea of a sport? Dodgeball or Advanced Square Dancing. So, they tell us we won’t have to do square dancing this year. Everyone is like, YAY. But no! We’re not doing SQUARE DANCING we’re doing ADVANCED SQUARE DANCING. Hmph.

I actually had an idea for a book today, that might actually work out. That is, if I ever get around to writing it. Which I probably won’t. Ah, the life of the procrastinator.

But since I’d rather invent dramatic SUMMARIES for books I am *cough cough* going to write, I’d give it a 1/100 chance of me writing it. Okay, maybe 2/100.

Anyways, anyone have an opinion on Robin Hood? If it’s a good one, forget it. I don’t want to hear it. <rant> Robin Hood is the most self- conceited, stupid- minded, most likely to have a mental disorder fictional character I have ever read about. Other then Peter Pan, and Edward from Twilight. And to all those people starting to get mad, yes I am a Jacob fan. I mean, come on! Edward is a vampire. As in bloodsucking demon. Whereas Jacob is at least human (despite the occasional wolf problem). Hmph. </rant>

Twitter wasn’t working, which is why I ended up on here today, but whatever. Maybe its overloaded with all of ‘Lina’s twitters. =) Yes, I’m talking to you, ‘Lina.

Anyway, life is good these days. At least it is for me. I dunno about the rest of you.

By the way, here is the Despair quote of the week: When you wish upon a star, your dreams can come true. Unless it’s really a meteorite hurtling to the Earth which will destroy all life. Then you’re pretty much hosed no matter what you wished for. Unless it’s death by meteor.

Wow….

February 6, 2008

Wow. I just realized I had a blog. Okay…… Um…..ANYWAY I just decided to start again. Because I need somewhere to rant. So, I guess I’ll actually post something! *claps hands sarcastically* Really. Tomorrow.
